As scheduled, the latest operating system from Microsoft,
Windows 11 was officially released on Tuesday (5/10/2021). This operating
system is available for free for owners of Windows 10 and can be downloaded
until mid 2022. As the successor of Windows 10, Windows 11 brings a number of
large reshuffles, especially from the design interface (UI) which is now more
fresh and cleaner, updates for window management features. Tasks, performance
improvements, to Android application support.
Before it was officially launched, some users have been able
to taste the various new features of Windows 11 through the Windows Insider
program. Well, from many updates brought by Windows 11, which features are the
most preferred and awaited by their presence? The Windows report tries to find
the answer by asking around 11,000 Windows users from 177 countries. In the
survey, there are five new features of Windows 11 top list. The details can be
seen below, as compiled by Kompastekno from Windows Reports on Wednesday
(6/10/2021). Menu Start Android Menu Supports Gamepass and Auto-HDR Sound Sound

Start the menu in the middle
As a result, the majority or 35 percent of users choose
"Start Menu in the middle" as their favorite new feature in Windows
11.
Indeed, the start menu and the taskbar which is now shifted
to the middle side is the most clear change in the Windows 11 interface.
Because in Windows 10 UI and before, the menu starts and the taskbar is usually
on the left side of the desktop screen.
As a result, the left side of the Windows 11 desktop is
clean without any icon. Some items, such as hours, connections, or batteries,
are still on the right side of the taskbar. The Start menu, which is now right
in the middle, also makes Windows 11 similar to the MacOS interface on the
MacBook or IMAC.
Android application support
In addition to the start menu, favorite features and the
most awaited for users is the support of Android applications, as many as 26
percent of users choose this new feature. This is not surprising. Because, this
is the first time Microsoft brings this ability in Windows. So far, Android
applications can be run on the Windows operating system with the help of the
emulator or double boot OS. With the support of Android applications in Windows
11, the Android application can be found and installed via Microsoft Store or
can also be downloaded via the Amazon App Store.
After downloading, the application can be pinned to the
taskbar or paired with traditional Windows applications. Monitor KompasTekno,
popular applications such as Instagram, Telegram, Spotify, Netflix, WhatsApp,
Messenger, Adobe Lightroom, and others can be found and installed on Windows
11.
Other features awaited
Three other new features are quite far from the two features
above. For example, Gamepass and Auto-HDR were chosen by 11 percent of survey
respondents. Pass game and auto-HDR are deliberately presented by Microsoft in
Windows 11 for gamers. Gamepass itself allows users to subscribe to the game,
through the new Xbox application on Windows 11.
Meanwhile, the new sound features and features of the Snap
Group layout are selected by 8 percent of respondents. Actually there are
features in the "other" category that gets 13 percent of the vote.
Unfortunately, the Windows report does not detail one of the new features of
Windows 11 which is under this "other" option.
