Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be released on October 28, and Activision gives us the initial view of the game before the official disclosure event. During the presentation, Infinity Ward highlighted the campaign and multipemory details that players could expect when launched. This is all that we have learned so far about this "new era" Call of Duty.
The new era of Call of Duty, but still supports the Old-Gensome of Activision's Marketing illustrates Modern Warfare 2 as the "new era" of the Call of Duty. When explaining this new era, Infinity Ward explained that this game was designed for gameplay connected "sophisticated" which was built on an integrated machine.
This redesigned engine will be shared with Treearch, Sledgehammer Games, and other co-studos for the title of Call of Duty in the future. The developer quickly added that the joint machine in all studios will not change the overall feel of each release.

Despite this new era, Call of Duty is still not ready to leave an older platform. Players can still enjoy Modern Warfare 2 on Playstation 4 and Xbox One, as well as PS5 and Xbox Series X | S. Activision also confirmed that Call of Duty will return to Steam for PCs, but battle.net is expected to be an option.
When asked about how Modern Warfare 2 will appear on an older gene console, the Head of Co-Studio Infinity Ward and Creative Director, Patrick Kelly, said he is "proud of the appearance of the game on an older platform." He added that he believed it still looked better than the 2019 modern war, despite using an older console.
As if to give a little tempting, Kelly also said during the presentation that Infinity Ward wanted to give "the experience in which players from all fashion preferences can enjoy the game in the same room." The developer does not describe the shared experience as what Modern Warfare 2 might be made but said that more information will be revealed at another time.
