Specifications on the POCO X3 GT
POCO as one of the smart phone technology brands in Indonesia has just introduced its newest mobile phone, the POCO X3 GT. This smartphone is equipped with a chipset from Mediatek Dimensity 1100 which was just launched in early 2021 globally.
Through the POCO X3 GT chipset for the flagship class, it was presented in Indonesia for the first time. There are several advantages possessed by the latest system-on-chip (SoC) made by Mediatek. Starting from performance improvements, artificial intelligence for multimedia experiences, breakthroughs in 5G networks and WiFi 6.0 connectivity, to the benefits of HyperEngine 3.0.
Performance
Deputy Director Corporate Sales of Southeast Asia MediaTek Cedric Chang said the performance improvement on the Dimensity 1100 can occur because it is equipped with 6 nanometer (nm) fabrication technology that is able to provide high performance efficiency to produce better performance, power efficiency and connectivity.
The chipset is designed with an eight-core Central Processing Unit (CPU) which includes four Arm Cortex-A78 cores operating at up to 2.6GHz and four Arm Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. This CPU architecture is combined with a nine-core Arm Mali-G77 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) operating at 836 MHz to deliver high-fidelity graphics to devices.

Based on the results of the AnTuTu benchmark test version 9.0.5 conducted by POCO on the POCO X3 GT, Mediatek Dimensity 1100 was able to achieve the highest score at 686,600 which shows very good performance.
Good performance is also shown when a cellphone equipped with Dimensity 1100 has a speed to install applications and open applications better than the previous generation. In addition, other performance improvements are in terms of battery power savings.
Cedric said, when compared to the performance of other chipset providers, the Dimensity 1100 product has the ability to save 25 percent better cellphone power.
Artificial intelligence
The second advantage of the Dimensity 1100 Chipset is artificial intelligence (Artificial Intelligence / AI) which is strengthened so as to provide an even more enjoyable multimedia experience.
Often when taking high-quality photos, mobile users have to wait a little longer to get photos or videos with really high-quality images. Equipped with Dimensity 1100, computational processes that produce good images can be done 20 percent faster.
In addition, with the qualifications set up on the Dimensity 1100, when shooting videos will get an increase of up to 40 percent from the previous generation of Mediatek chipsets. The quality rendered for ordinary videos is increased by up to three times through the adoption of three exposure shots.
Regarding the best feature, with the Dimensity 1100 chipset, you can get best video results for more than one human object. Of course, this is an interesting breakthrough because so far the best feature used in shooting videos on average is still focused on one object that is not more than one.
Lastly, in terms of using AI for a capable multimedia experience, the Dimensity 1100 is able to convert photos in SDR (Standard Dynamic Range) format into HDR (High Dynamic Range) photos.
Optimal 5G Network Service and WiFi 6.0
The third advantage, Dimensity 1100 is
predicted to be able to provide optimal 5G network services and WiFi 6.0.

In terms of connectivity in the building, Dimensity 1100 brings
the latest WiFi capabilities,
namely WiFi 6.0. WiFi 6.0 is
certainly more stable and performs better than WiFi 5.0, which is
currently a technology that is widely used by most smartphones, including high
end.

cellphone, the transition to the connectivity switch will feel fast, maybe not

HyperEngine 3.0
With the Dimensity 1100, Mediatek promises
better data transmission. For example, when a user is playing an online game,
none of the incoming calls will be interrupted.
When sharing the network with friends via hotspot or
tethering, Dimensity 1100 can maintain the quality of the data provided to
friends will have the same speed as the phone you are using.
Cedric said that the data transmitted would be 17 percent
better on the 4G network and 25 percent on the 5G network. Although network
sharing often drains cellphone power quickly, Cedric promises that the
tethering process on a cellphone equipped with Dimensity 1100 will have the ability to save power 35 percent
better than its competitors.
